An ecosystem is all the living and non-living things in a specific area and the interaction that occurs between them. We can find living things from the five kingdoms, such as fauna (animals), flora (plants), protists, monera and fungi. Non-living things in an environment include air, soil (rocks and minerals), water, temperature, sunlight, etc.
Ecosystems include:
· BIOCENOSIS. Living things: 5 kingdoms
· BIOTOPE. Non-living things: temperature, air and wind, sunlight, water, soil…
Ecosystems can be natural or artificial.
Natural ecosystems can be terrestrial or marine.
